At 6th St Long Beach, we completed a custom gate and fence installation designed to secure the driveway and complement the home’s Mediterranean-style architecture. A “custom gate and fence installation” is the made-to-measure design, fabrication, and on-site fitting of gates and fence sections to match a specific property’s openings, grade, and security needs.
The centerpiece is a double-swing driveway gate built from steel/wrought iron with welded fabrication throughout. Two gate leaves meet cleanly at the center with a reinforced frame, properly aligned hinges, and a sturdy latch/receiver for reliable daily use. Vertical pickets and solid infill create privacy while maintaining a refined, traditional look, highlighted by subtle scrollwork along the arched top rail and decorative details at the base. Heavy-duty posts/columns anchor the assembly and keep the span rigid across the sloped driveway.
All metal fence and gate surfaces were prepped and finished in a durable black powder coat finish for long-term corrosion resistance near the coast. No operator is visible, so the system is automation-ready for an automatic gate upgrade, including future access control options like keypad, remotes, and safety devices.
