On Hillside Rd., we completed a custom gate and fence installation to secure a wide driveway and side access while matching the property’s rustic architecture. “A custom gate and fence installation is a made-to-measure perimeter system that controls entry, improves safety, and complements the building’s style.” The project features a carriage-house look with vertical pickets/infill above solid lower panels, creating privacy without feeling closed-in.
The driveway gate was built as balanced gate leaves with reinforced welded fabrication at the internal frame, set between sturdy posts/columns for long-term alignment. Heavy-duty hinges support smooth operation, and a center latch/stop keeps the pair tight and quiet in wind. Coordinated fence panels continue the same proportions and spacing to visually unify the frontage, and a matching pedestrian gate/alley gate provides convenient walk-through access for daily use.
For durability, we used metal fence components in steel/wrought iron construction where appropriate, finished in a dark powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and a consistent, low-sheen appearance. This system is automation-ready for an automatic gate upgrade, with clearance and access control planning for a future operator/motor, keypad, and safety devices like photo eyes.
