This custom gate and fence project on Mulholland Dr. features a modern privacy-forward design built around a steel frame and composite wood infill. “A custom gate and fence installation is a tailored entry and perimeter system fabricated to fit a specific property’s layout, security, and style.” The work included welded fabrication of steel posts/columns, gate leaves, and matching fence panels, with clean horizontal/vertical framing that complements contemporary architecture.
For the perimeter, metal fence sections were installed atop an existing wall, using rigid steel frames with composite pickets/infill panels for a uniform sightline and durable, low-maintenance finish. At the entry, a wide double-swing driveway gate was built with aligned composite panels, reinforced hinges, and a center meeting stile with latch/lock hardware for secure closure. The consistent matte black powder coat finish on the steel/wrought iron–style frame provides corrosion resistance and sharp contrast against the gray composite.
Although no operator/motor is shown, the driveway gate is automation-ready for an automatic gate upgrade, including future access control such as keypads or remotes, while maintaining tight clearances and smooth swing geometry for driveway use. This setup also suits pedestrian gate or alley gate applications where matching materials and privacy are needed.
